Driving school's in Georgia are all privately owned businesses but some are regulated by the State of Georgia and some are not. State approved school's like ours are overseen by the Georgia Department of Driver Services and can offer a variety of state programs including the 6 hour Defensive Driving class. Not only do the driving school's need to be regulated but the instructors do as well. All of North Metro Traffic School's instructors are accredited by the State and meet all necessary requirements to teach Georgia's Defensive Driving classes.

Each driving school must offer a state approved curriculum and here at our school, we offer the Driver Educators of Georgia curriculum or DEOG program. However, most programs are very similar and all of them last 6 hours and cost $75. We believe the DEOG program is the best program for our students and instructors and is not only informative but also entertaining. 

The biggest factor in determining which school to attend should be the facility itself. Because many schools have been around for many years, most are in very bad shape and all are basically the same. You will find the majority of Georgia Driving Schools are located in run down strip malls and consist of one large classroom with old furniture and a small tv. This is basically how many schools look but not ours.

North Metro Traffic School is a large, new school that takes up 2 floors of a Colonial style office building. Our facility includes state of the art technolgy, new furniture, 2 huge classrooms, a break- room, sitting area, conference room and sign in area. We are unlike any other school in the entire state.
